Most sites do not need rebuilding
The instinct when a website starts feeling embarrassing is to burn it down. That is often the expensive answer to the wrong diagnosis. A site that loads in five seconds, breaks on a phone and buries the one thing you sell three clicks deep has three fixable problems, not a platform problem.
So the first thing that happens is a look, and an honest answer about which of these it is. That look costs nothing.

- How much does a website redesign cost?

- Will I lose my Google rankings?
- Not if the migration is handled properly. Existing URLs are mapped, redirects are put in place where addresses change, page structure that is earning traffic is preserved, and the sitemap is resubmitted afterwards. Ranking loss during a redesign is almost always a redirect failure, and it is avoidable.
- Can you work on my WordPress site?
- Yes. WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or a hand-built site — the rescue work happens on whatever you have. Moving platforms is only recommended when staying is genuinely costing you more than moving.
- How do I know whether I need a redesign or a rebuild?
- Send the URL and you get an honest answer at no cost. Roughly: if the content and structure are broadly right and the site is slow, dated or broken on mobile, it is a redesign. If you cannot add a page without a developer, or the site was built around a business you no longer run, it is a rebuild.
- My developer disappeared and I cannot log in anywhere. Can you help?
- Usually yes — recovering domain and hosting access is a common first step and is a normal part of a rescue. Bring whatever you have: an old invoice, an email address, a registrar name. It is more recoverable than it feels.
- Can you just make it faster and leave the design alone?
- Yes. A speed-and-mobile-only pass is the cheapest useful thing on this page and often the highest return, because load time affects both conversion and ranking.
