Posteroids is a web design and development studio in Lahore, Pakistan, building websites, storefronts and web applications for clients in Pakistan, the UK and the US. Prices run $500 to $12,000 by project type, timelines one to eight weeks, and every project starts with a free demo — one real, working page of your own site, on a live link, before any invoice exists.

What is Posteroids?
A web design and development studio based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, founded in 2025. It designs and builds websites, online stores and web applications end to end — design, build, copywriting and deployment — for clients in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the United States and elsewhere remotely.
Where is Posteroids based?
Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The studio works remotely with clients anywhere; Lahore is UTC+5, which overlaps the entire UK working day and the US morning.
How big is the team?
Small — small enough that the person who takes your brief is the person who designs and builds the site. That is the main advantage and also the main limitation, and both are worth knowing before you hire. If you need a team deep enough to absorb someone being unavailable for a fortnight, a larger agency is the right call.
What languages do you work in?
English and Urdu, for conversations and for the sites themselves.

The free demo

What is the free demo?
Before any invoice exists, Posteroids builds one real page of your actual site and sends you the live link. Not a mockup, not a Figma file, not a slide — a working page you can open on your phone and forward to anyone. If you do not want to continue, you keep the link and owe nothing.
Is it really free? What is the catch?
It is really free, and the catch is that it is a sales tool that works. Most studios show a portfolio and ask for a deposit. Showing a real page of your site instead converts better and costs an afternoon — and if it does not convert, the studio has learned something cheaply.
How long does the demo take?
Usually a few days from the brief. The brief itself is about fifteen minutes and needs no deck, budget document or specification.
What if I do not like it?
You walk away, keep the link, and owe nothing. There is no obligation attached and no follow-up sequence.

Money

How much does a website cost with Posteroids?
$600–$1,500 for a portfolio site, $1,200–$3,500 for a B2B or company site, $1,500–$4,000 for an e-commerce storefront, $3,000–$12,000 for a web application or MVP, and $500–$2,000 for a redesign. Maintenance afterwards is $150 a month and optional. Full list at posteroids.com/pricing.
What currency do you charge in?
Quoted in USD, invoiced in USD, GBP or PKR — whichever suits you. Paid by bank transfer or the usual international rails.
Do you charge hourly?
No. Fixed project price for an agreed scope, settled before work starts. Ongoing work after launch is the monthly retainer rather than billed hours.
Do you take a deposit up front?
Payment is staged against delivered work, and the first stage comes after the free demo — so you have seen a real working page of your own site before any money moves.
Are there ongoing costs?
Domain and hosting, paid directly to those providers, typically $10–$30 a month for a website and often less. Maintenance with Posteroids is optional at $150 a month.

The work

How long does a project take?
One to two weeks for a portfolio site or a redesign, two to three for a company site, two to four for a storefront, and four to eight for a web application or MVP.
Do I own the code?
Yes — the repository, the code, the hosting accounts and the domain, from day one rather than handed over at the end. Nothing is locked to Posteroids and another developer can take it over without a migration project.
What technology do you build with?
Chosen per project rather than sold as a package, but in practice modern JavaScript and TypeScript, a managed Postgres database where one is needed, a hosted auth provider, and deployment to a global edge network. Deliberately conventional choices, so your next developer recognises everything.
Do you write the copy?
Yes, as part of the build. You supply the facts and correct anything wrong. Projects where the client promises to write their own copy are the ones that stall.
Will my site be fast and rank on Google?
Technical groundwork is included in every build: clean structure, fast loading from a global edge network, structured data, sitemaps, and copy written around terms your buyers actually search. Nobody honest guarantees a ranking, because nobody controls it. What can be guaranteed is that nothing on the site is holding you back.
How many revisions do I get?
The build happens in the open on a live URL, so you are reacting to it daily rather than saving up feedback for a formal review round. There is no revision counter inside the agreed scope.
What happens after launch?
Care and feeding is $150 a month for edits, new sections, fixes and uptime — optional, no minimum term. If you would rather hand it to an in-house developer, everything is documented and handed over.
Can you work on a site someone else built?
Usually yes. That is either a redesign and rescue at $500–$2,000, or the monthly retainer if it just needs looking after. If the existing code is in bad enough shape that maintaining it costs more than replacing it, you get told that rather than quietly billed for the difficulty.

Hiring across a border

I am in the UK or US. Does the time difference work?
Lahore is UTC+5. For the UK that is four or five hours ahead, covering the whole British working day. For the US East Coast it is nine or ten hours ahead, so the overlap is your morning; for the West Coast it is twelve or thirteen, which is genuinely more awkward and worth weighing. Most communication is asynchronous — you send changes in your evening and they are done when you wake up.
Is it safe to hire a developer in Pakistan?
The risk is concentrated almost entirely in paying before seeing anything real, which is exactly what the free demo removes. Beyond that the usual rules apply wherever you hire: own the repository and domain from day one, insist on a conventional stack, and pay in stages against delivered work. Can you sign an NDA or a contract?
Yes. An NDA before the brief if you want one, and a written scope and payment schedule before work starts. W-8BEN available for US clients.
Will the site comply with GDPR?
Yes, where you need it to: cookie consent where tracking is present, a privacy policy, minimal data collection by default, and UK or EU hosting regions if data must be resident there. Flag it in the brief and it is built in rather than retrofitted.
